Philip Bell


Phil is an associate in the commercial and technology disputes department.

He advises clients on contentious matters including commercial and contractual disputes, issues arising from the misuse of confidential information, and breach of trust claims.

Phil has significant experience of litigation before the High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as arbitration proceedings, and is also experienced in all forms of ADR, including mediation and Court-run Early Neutral Evaluations. Phil also regularly provides clients with strategic advice with a view to resolving disputes before formal proceedings have commenced.

Phil acts for clients operating in a variety of sectors, including technology, life sciences, media and insurance companies. He has substantial experience of disputes with a technological focus and is a member of the Society for Computers & Law.

Phil trained at Bristows and has also spent time on secondment in the legal department of a global media and advertising company, where he gained valuable commercial experience.
