Kate O’Sullivan

Associate

Kate has worked on a range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on patents. She has experience of patent litigation in the High Court and Court of Appeal in the UK and co-ordinating cross-border disputes. Kate has a key interest in the life sciences sector, specifically pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and has a good understanding of the technical issues in this area due to her background in biochemistry.

Prior to qualifying into the IP litigation department, Kate completed her training contract at Bristows. During this time, she spent three months in the International Litigation team at a leading internet services/technology company. Kate was also seconded to the Patents department of an international pharmaceutical company, focusing primarily on biologics.
