Charles Purdie


Charlie is an associate in the commercial, technology and copyright disputes team. He specialises in dispute resolution with particular expertise in disputes arising out of IT and technology contracts, including copyright licensing. Charlie also has experience advising on media disputes, data breaches, misuse of confidential information, and in relation to technical commercial disputes in the aerospace industry.

Charlie has a particular interest in the interactive entertainment sector and has advised a range of clients from small indie video games developers to large digital entertainment companies in relation to software development projects, copyright infringement, IP licensing and contractual disputes.

Since qualifying in 2018, Charlie has worked on a range of cases across all stages of litigation including pre-action correspondence, early stage strategy, negotiations, mediations, and High Court litigation.
