Naina’s experience ranges from negotiating agreements, considering and advising on technology projects for clients (including SaaS and software licensing), and working on cross-border transactions. Having advised on multiple long term retainers for clients, Naina understands the importance of practical legal advice, particularly for clients working with technology providers.
On the IP side, Naina has a particular interest in media and entertainment, having worked on agreements related to the acquisition and production of films and tv programmes. She also works on franchising, licensing and talent arrangements for consumer-facing brands. In addition, she considers the IP implications of software and products, including those created in collaboration between partners, being used more widely in developing technology.
In relation to data privacy matters, Naina focuses primarily on ongoing data protection compliance for clients. She has an interest in the impact of new product technology on both consumer and data protection rights.
Some of Naina’s work highlights include:

Naina has previously been seconded to both a global technology company, and, more recently, a leading US-headquartered entertainment group. In this latter role, she worked closely with the business to negotiate and draft commercial agreements with various organisations, including event agencies, software companies and consultants. She also advised on adjacent considerations such as advertising and consumer law, and worked closely with the company’s specialist intellectual property and data protection teams.
Prior to joining Bristows, Naina worked for a multinational group assisting with the creation and development of their loyalty scheme.
