Florence Plisner

Florence joined Bristows as a trainee solicitor in August 2018. She completed her training in September 2020 and is now working in the patent litigation team.

Utilising her background in biochemistry, Florence has worked on a variety of UK patent infringement and invalidity proceedings across the life sciences sector. These cases pertained to an array of pharmaceutical products including antibodies, small molecules and non-biological complex drugs. Florence also assisted a client in successfully defending a patent entitlement dispute relating to the manufacture of biodiesel.

Florence has also gained experience coordinating patent infringement and invalidity proceedings across multiple jurisdictions within Europe, Asia and Central and South America. She is also an Authorised Representative before the UPC.

During her training contract, as well as training in patent litigation, Florence gained experience in other practice areas at Bristows with an IP focus including brands, designs and copyright and commercial IP/IT and data protection.
