Stephanie’s experience includes all aspect of trade mark matters relating to UK, International and European Union Trade Marks. Stephanie can assist with devising global filing strategies and appropriate specifications, overcoming registry objections as well as defending, prosecuting and settling oppositions, including drafting and negotiating terms of co-existence agreements. Stephanie also has experience in representing clients at hearings and case management conferences at the UKIPO.

Stephanie can assist with brand clearance, transactional matters such as drafting and recording assignments and due diligence, as well as general trade mark portfolio review advice and strategy.

Stephanie advises a range of clients in diverse industry sectors, including fashion, hospitality, food and drink, insurance, dental devices and social media in relation to their trade mark clearance, prosecution and enforcement work. Her work highlights include:

• Acting for a multinational restaurant chain in relation to brand clearance for marquee brands and time limited promotions.
• Assisting a global hospitality client with trade mark filing, prosecution and brand enforcement strategies.
• Assisting a major sports footwear brand in contentious registry proceedings before the UKIPO, including filing, prosecuting and dealing with settlement of opposition proceedings.
