Naomi joined Bristows as a Trainee Solicitor in 2022 and qualified into the Commercial and Technology Disputes team in September 2024.

Naomi’s practice area covers pre-action correspondence, early-stage strategy, mediations and litigation. Naomi has acted on a diverse range of commercial disputes, including in respect of technology transformation programmes, construction and supply contracts and licence agreements. Naomi advises clients in various sectors including IT, technology, pharmaceuticals and renewable energy.

Some of Naomi’s work highlights include:

  • Advising a telecommunications company on its termination options in respect of a contract for the construction and delivery of a satellite.
  • Acting for a pharmaceutical company in a termination dispute with its counterparty to a development, licensing and marketing agreement.
  • Assisting with a mediation of separate delay and quality disputes in connection with a tech transformation programme and platform rebuild.
  • Defending a telecommunications company in a termination dispute with a supplier of data containers.

Naomi completed her LLB at Trinity College Dublin and her LLM in Innovation, Technology and the Law at the University of Edinburgh. Naomi’s undergraduate dissertation, on the impact of artificial intelligence for Irish employment equality law, was published in the Trinity College Law Review and awarded the prizes for Best Article and Best IP/IT Article.

Prior to joining Bristows, Naomi spent a year working for a software company and gained experience in the working practices of fast-growing technology start-ups.

Naomi is a member of the AI Committee at the Society for Computers & Law (SCL), having previously served as Co-Chair of the Trainee Committee.
