Olivia is an associate in the IP litigation department.
Building on her background in biochemistry, Olivia has worked on a range of matters predominantly in the life sciences sector, including patent infringement and invalidity proceedings and issues surrounding Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPCs). Olivia has experience of proceedings before the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Olivia qualified into the IP litigation department in 2016, having joined Bristows as a trainee solicitor in 2014. During her training contract, Olivia spent three months in the legal department of a global computer entertainment company working on general commercial and IP matters.
Olivia is also a contributor to the monthly EPO reports which Bristows produces for the CIPA journal.
