Laura is a contentious IP specialist whose advice covers the full range of intellectual property rights, especially patents and SPCs. She advises across all industries, with a particular emphasis on pharmaceuticals, medical devices, chemicals and chemical processes. Her scientific background enables her to give comprehensive legal advice to clients whilst also understanding the technicalities of the dispute.
Laura has extensive experience of advising upon, and coordinating, pharmaceutical lifecycle management programmes, which involves regulatory issues together with the full range of IP rights. Her work often has an international element, regularly requiring her to work alongside lawyers and patent attorneys in other jurisdictions. Laura has significant trial experience in the High Court, Court of Appeal and interlocutory applications of all kinds. She has also attended European Patent Office opposition proceedings for clients.
