Competition expert Matthew Hunt spoke to the Insurance Times about the CMA investigation into Compare the Market’s “wide” Most Favoured Nation clauses which where preventing competitors from undercutting it.
Matthew mentioned that the comparison website hasn’t enforced the controversial clauses since 2017, but it should have reacted faster, moving to “narrow” MFN clauses instead.
