A new era of work is here: flexible, dynamic, globalised and tech-empowered. As an employer, what will you make of this opportunity? With our broad expertise and international perspective, we can equip you to navigate new kinds of risk and deliver a transformative people strategy for your organisation.

Finding, engaging and retaining talent has always been key, but in dynamic sectors such as technology, life sciences and brands, it’s become the critical factor, and all eyes are now on HR.

Our market-leading strengths in IP and technology make us the ideal employment partner in these fields, for people leaders in multinationals, fast-growing companies and other organisations.

We pride ourselves on giving clear advice that’s pragmatic, innovative and focused on your goals. We can support your business locally, internationally and across borders on all aspects of employment law — including advisory, transactional and litigation work.

We’ll work closely with you, getting to know your operations and culture, your people strategy and vision for the long term. By building strong and lasting partnerships we can provide more informed solutions and deal with small problems quickly and efficiently before they become large ones.

In a dynamic, globalised employment market it’s our international, cross-jurisdictional HR expertise that really sets us apart. Businesses and organisations value our advice and support in developing international HR policies and delivering global transformation projects. We also help in drafting and enforcing post-termination restrictions and confidentiality obligations across borders, and resolving the people issues arising from international corporate transactions and outsourcing arrangements.

Experience

We regularly advise on intra-group restructuring and reorganisations including redundancy programmes, collective and individual consultation, lock-in and incentive arrangements and variation of contracts.

We frequently advise on family-friendly rights, equal pay, bullying, stress and discrimination claims and we draft policies and procedures on various aspects of equal opportunities. We also assist businesses to implement best practice and procedure.

We regularly draft employment contracts, Directors' service agreements, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks and policies, confidentiality and IPR agreements and restrictive covenants. We also have a thriving advisory practice which covers the whole spectrum of employment rights such as maternity and parental rights, atypical working arrangements, holidays, working time, unlawful deductions, grievances and any situation that gives rise to conflict in the workplace.

When an employment relationship is coming to an end, our team can advise your business how to terminate employment and manage dismissals including individual and collective redundancies. We also advise on disciplinary and dismissal issues and regularly negotiate exit packages for employers and senior executives.
