Andy Bowler’s opinion on Germany‘s legislation to ratify the European Unified Patent Court (UPC) Agreement was quoted in World IP Review.
Andy said that the legislation means the new UPC can now start navigating the final necessary stages before it comes into existence. He highlighted that there is still a fair bit of work to do, including diplomatic efforts to have the Provisional Application protocol ratified by at least two more member states, and recruiting and training the judges.
