Henry is an associate in the commercial, technology and copyright disputes team having qualified in 2021, after completing his training contract at Bristows. He specialises in commercial dispute resolution, with a particular focus on the technology sector. Henry advises clients at all stages of a dispute, ranging from the initial interpretation of contractual requirements to proceedings before the Courts. Henry’s experience includes working on highly complex technology disputes, including recently advising a government department in relation to issues arising from delay and defects with an outsourced IT system.
Henry has also spent time seconded with the in-house legal team of an international technology company, working on a variety of matters including contract management, handling disputes with suppliers, and issues related to data protection. This gives Henry an insight into how different work streams must be managed simultaneously in commercial organisations, as well as a valuable understanding of the importance of aligning legal advice with commercial decisions.
