Hannah is a senior associate in the Bristows’ data protection team. She advises multinational and UK clients, helping them navigate the changing landscape of UK and EU data protection law including the General Data Protection Regulation, e-Privacy and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Her practice covers a wide range of data protection and privacy issues, including Binding Corporate Rules, e-Privacy, Data Protection Impact Assessments, personal data rights and direct marketing. Her practice also includes a significant amount of contentious work, advising clients on managing data breaches and investigations by the UK Information Commissioner and other EU data protection authorities.
Hannah is also experienced in data protection litigation, assisting with cases before the UK Court of Appeal and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
In 2014 Hannah spent three months on secondment working in the Privacy team of a US law firm in Seattle, where she gained a valuable insight into data privacy law from a US perspective.
