David Hemming

Associate

David joined Bristows as an associate in April 2022 and is part of the patent litigation team, where he works on matters in the life sciences sector.

Prior to joining Bristows, David trained at a leading international law firm where he worked in a range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects. He also spent six months working in the commercial team of a well-known public sector transport organisation.

David’s background is in chemistry, and his PhD focused on the development of novel chemical reactions. As part of his undergraduate degree, he completed an industrial placement within a medicinal chemistry team at a multinational pharmaceutical company. David is also a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
