Anna advises clients on data protection and privacy, and compliance with other laws and regulations relating to cybersecurity, data, and the regulation of digital services.
Anna’s experience covers a broad spectrum of issues including advising clients regarding:
- the legitimisation of cross-border data transfers,
- direct marketing and digital advertising,
- the Age Appropriate Design Code and the lawful processing of children’s data,
- responding to data subject requests,
- responding to regulatory investigations, and
- compliance with various data and digital regulations (including the Digital Services Act, the Data Act, and the NIS2 Directive).
Anna has spent eight months on secondment working at a global music streaming service during which she developed a particular interest in Adtech and the complex data protection compliance issues that arise in connection with the exchange of personal data within the Adtech ecosystem.
Prior to joining Bristows, Anna worked as an IP and commercial lawyer at a leading Irish corporate law firm, and at a US law firm advising on corporate transactions in which data protection and IP play an important role.
