Abigail is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and has worked in Intellectual Property Law since 2001. Prior to joining Bristows, Abigail spent over six years working in-house in the trade marks team for the world’s largest alcohol beverage company.
Abigail advises on all aspects of UK and EUTM trade mark and design law and practice and liaises with foreign agents on a regular basis. She has substantial experience with large portfolio management, availability opinions, strategy, trade mark prosecution, oppositions, invalidation and revocation actions and advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters across a wide range of industries. Abigail has advocacy experience in inter partes and ex parte Hearings.
Abigail is part of CITMA’s Education, Qualification and Standards committee. She is also a member of LES and the editor of our Trade Marks Review of the Year.
