Christopher Stubbs

Trainee Solicitor

I have always had a keen interest in science but my interest in law only began to develop during the latter stages of my education. I certainly enjoyed carrying out research and development during my Biochemistry degree and in the pharmaceutical industry. However, I felt a need to satisfy a broader curiosity for commercial matters, as well as maintaining a connection to the scientific community.

As I began researching a career as a solicitor, both online and through personal recommendations, Bristows’ name continued to appear. I was particularly drawn to Bristows’ exceptional reputation in both the life sciences and technology sectors, as well as its impressive client list.

I then attended the Science and Engineering Open Day and I was hooked by the enthusiasm and friendliness of all the staff who took part. I immediately applied for a position and embarked on an interesting interview process, which made me even more sure that I had might the correct decision.

Since joining Bristows, my initial impressions have been confirmed. I have particularly enjoyed the variety of work available. So far, I have experienced the Patent Litigation, Corporate and Regulatory departments and enjoyed each one immensely.
