Event Information

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is all about intelligent machines, thinking and working like humans, recognising our speech, computers able to problem-solve, learn and plan effectively. AI has already changed the way the world operates.

AI works by combining large amounts of data, from many sources with fast, iterative processing and intelligent algorithms, allowing machines to learn automatically from patterns or features in the data.

We’ll hear from the trail-blazers, practitioners and analysts working with AI markets.

As a co-author of a survey into the UK public’s views on AI (see the survey report: https://www.bristows.com/viewpoint/articles/artificial-intelligence-public-perception-attitude-and-trust), Vikram Khurana will present the lessons learned from the survey as well as the data/privacy implications of AI. Tony Smee of Slingsby & Partners will ask ‘Can AI Invent?’, discussing the patent implications of AI. Richard Coope from Brightful will be sharing practical, real-life case studies illustrating the tangible advantages of AI to our lives right now.
