Event Information

In 2020, only 26% of senior UK judges were women (High Court and above). Despite these statistics, more women are entering the judiciary.

On 23 June from 5PM (GMT), the ChIPs Network: London & Europe will host the second event in the Take Your Seat at the Bench series. Deputy High Court Judge Pat Treacy and Mrs Justice Kelyn Bacon will discuss their continued journeys as judges, including Mrs Justice Bacon’s decision to take the leap to a full time judge and what they have learned about being a judge since we last spoke with them in 2018.

This free event aims to inform, inspire and encourage others to consider becoming a judge so that our judiciary can better reflect our society.
