Senior Associate

Laura specialises in non-contentious IP and technology matters. She has broad experience of transactions involving the development and exploitation of intellectual property rights. She also advises on commercial arrangements relating to the use of technology and related IT services.

While Laura’s experience spans a range of sectors, her practice focuses on advising clients in the fashion, luxury goods and retail sectors where brand equity is of particular importance.

On the IP side, Laura supports clients with licensing and other complex arrangements relating to the exploitation and protection of their brands. She also helps clients to bring innovative products to market by advising on supply chain and marketing arrangements.

On the technology side, Laura deals with a variety of IT and digital matters, ranging from international IT outsourcing and systems integration projects to e-commerce arrangements and software development and licensing. She has a particular interest and expertise in technologies deployed to transform the retail sector.

Having spent time seconded to the in-house legal department of various clients, including a global luxury goods brand, Laura recognises the importance of understanding her clients’ businesses and the industries in which they operate.

Laura joined Bristows as a trainee solicitor in 2012.
