He advises a major UK healthcare provider on their real estate portfolio and recently led the real estate aspects of a £1.1bn sale and leaseback transaction.</p> <p>Tim specialises in commercial real estate with extensive experience of BTR development projects, sale and leaseback deals, asset management and complex corporate occupier deals. Some of Tim’s work highlights include:</p> <ul> <li>Advising one of the UK’s largest healthcare providers on the real estate aspects of a £1.1bn sale and leaseback transaction.</li> <li>Advising a US based global law firm on the acquisition of a new European headquarters in the City of London.</li> <li>Advising a build to rent developer on the conditional purchase of an office block from a sovereign wealth fund.</li> <li>Advising a build to rent developer on site assembly and conditional purchase of a proposed development site with an anticipate GDV of £650m.</li> <li>Advising on the sale of a UK consulate.</li> <li>Advising an overseas landlord client on the re-structuring of management arrangements for a landmark central London asset.</li> </ul> <p>Tim is interested in the potential for technology to improve the way that property is designed, constructed, traded and occupied.</p> <p>Tim has committed to promoting London as a home for the international technology community as a Tech London Advocate.</p>

<p>Suzanne has risen through the ranks since joining Bristows as a trainee, gaining experience across the full range of transactional <a href="https://www.bristows.com/expertise/transactions/real-estate/">real estate</a> matters. She has spent two separate stints in-house in lending institutions, and a few years working in private practice in Northern Ireland. Exposure to the demands on in-house lawyers and the intricacies of another jurisdiction have enabled her to become a versatile and commercial lawyer with a common-sense approach to transaction management.</p> <p>Having forged close relationships with a number of tenant representatives from the leading London agencies, she has a steady flow of instructions from corporate occupier clients relocating to new office premises. Her experience in-house means she is well placed to act on property finance matters on both borrower and lender side. In recent years, she has acted for new entrants to the UK real estate market and guided them through the jurisdictional nuances of investing in property in England. She has a wealth of experience acting for retail clients trading from out of town centres, and has advised them from the development stage of new premises through the whole life cycle to exit. Suzanne has experience advising charities on the compliance issues arising from the disposal and financing of their property interests. She also regularly forms part of a wider Bristows’ transaction team acting on the acquisition of spin out companies in the life sciences and technology sectors, and often supports these companies when they scale up their business requiring additional space.</p> <p>Suzanne’s work highlights include:</p> <ul> <li>Acting for an offshore investor acquiring a mixed-use asset in central London for £30m.</li> <li>Acting for a publishing house purchasing its first central London office premises.</li> <li>Advising a leading garden centre operator since 2012 on its acquisition and financing of several new sites around England and Wales and subsequent asset management issues.</li> <li>Advising a European bank on regearing its leasehold interest at its City HQ.</li> <li>Acting for a Middle Eastern bank on refinancing a residential portfolio in Battersea Power Station.</li> <li>Acting for a number of professional services firms securing new premises on a pre-let basis.</li> <li>Advising a pharmaceutical company on the disposal of a contaminated land site.</li> <li>Advising a research institute on the statutory compensation procedure under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.</li> <li>Advising charities on compliance issues arising from property disposals.</li> </ul>

Hedley has experience in a number of different sectors including office, industrial, retail & leisure and mineral extraction.</p>

<p>Zoe joined Bristows as an associate in April 2023 and is part of the <a href="/expertise/transactions/real-estate/">real estate</a> team. She has acted on commercial property matters for a range of clients, including institutional investors, developers, corporate occupiers, charities and public bodies.</p> <p>Prior to joining Bristows, Zoe completed her training contract at a national firm, where she represented clients in a broad range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals and lease negotiations.</p>
