Bristows is delighted to invite you to a full day Medical devices seminar, which is the 2nd edition of this popular event. It is being organised jointly with the ABHI and is free to attend. We will address various hot topic issues impacting on the medical devices and diagnostics industries, including in relation to the recast legislation, advertising, data privacy, product safety, competition and patents.
We are fortunate to have the contribution of key industry players. The morning session will be chaired by Mike Kreuzer (ABHI) who has a wealth of experience in the regulatory field and is closely following the recast proposals. Nishan Sunthares (ABHI) will impart his significant knowledge on procurement issues. David Van Passel (J&J) will also speak about advertising and transparency. We are also delighted to welcome Tony Sant from the MHRA who will discuss device safety and future proposals.
The seminar will feature an industry panel session entitled ‘Challenges faced by Industry’ which will be chaired by Dr Scott Johnstone, CEO of the Scottish Lifesciences Association. Tony Sant (MHRA) will join this panel, together with experienced industry figures, who will each add their valuable practical insight to topics including product safety, procurement issues and the recast proposals.
This seminar presents an excellent opportunity to network with industry colleagues, and Bristows will host a cocktail hour at the end of the event.
