Allan Matheson is the CEO of compliance research firm Blue Umbrella. Allan has more than a decade of experience in compliance risk management leadership, due diligence and pre-employment screening in Asia. Prior to founding Blue Umbrella Limited, Allan successfully built Verify Screening Solutions, an employee diligence company. Verify began as a small operation and grew to become a large company with over 250 staff operating in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and India. In early 2008, Verify was acquired by their largest regional competitor. Allan speaks Mandarin and can converse in Cantonese.
