The Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA) have offically become the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) following the receipt of a royal charter earlier in the year.
Bristows’ Registered Trade Mark attorneys (Abigail Smith, Catherine Byfield, Jade MacIntyre, Remya Jayakkarand Saaira Gill) will now hold the title Chartered Trade Mark Attorney. This new title will not only further strengthen the Institute’s longstanding reputation throughout the legal sector but enhance CITMA’s role as the pre-eminent body for trade marks and designs in the UK.
