AI is having a far-reaching impact on the way we live our lives, both personally and professionally. At great pace, it is starting to re-shape modern businesses and transform the workplace and traditional working practices.

In this Lexology-hosted webinar we explored how generative AI tools are set to make lasting changes to the way in which employees work and how this will create a new set of legal risks and challenges for employers. We looked at the legal and operational considerations arising from transformational change and explore how technology is transforming everything from recruitment practices, succession planning for senior employees and the way in which we manage, assess, and monitor the performance of employees.

Generative AI tools offer much potential for both employers and employees, but without well-defined rules around permissible use, they bring considerable risks. We explored the steps which employers can take to maximise the opportunities whilst mitigating the risks and challenges arising from the use of AI in the workplace.
