Lucie specialises in intellectual property litigation and dispute resolution. Lucie’s practice covers the full spectrum of IP rights, including patents, trade marks, designs and copyright. She advises clients across a broad range of industry sectors, from pharmaceuticals and life sciences to cutting-edge technology, digital media, luxury brands, fashion, retail and consumer products.

Lucie is experienced in handling both domestic and complex multi-jurisdictional disputes, including the strategic coordination of proceedings across the UK, the EU and worldwide. Lucie has experience litigating disputes in the English High Court and Patents Court. She also provides clients with strategic advice on how best to protect and enforce their IP across the UK and regularly provides freedom to operate and validity opinions. Lucie has particular expertise in the cross-border coordination of patents proceedings.

Lucie also has industry experience, having spent six months on secondment to the litigation department of a major retailer.

Lucie was named a Rising Star in Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars 2018 edition and a Notable Practitioner in Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars 2020 edition.

In 2021, Lucie was awarded a prize for best contribution to a Study Question by AIPPI (The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) UK, for her work on the Patents Study Question on the inventiveness and sufficiency of disclosure in AI inventions.
