Trade secrets directive to add to GDPR, NIS directive and Privacy Shield

Organisations have been warned to prepare for a new European Union directive on trade secrets, which may well require them to demonstrate that they have taken measures to protect what they regard as trade secrets if they are to uphold their rights.

The warning was made by Robert Bond, data protection specialist and partner at law firm Bristows at this week’s Computing IT Leaders Forum in London.
