Event Information

[Please note that this event has already taken place.]

This series of webinars explored the science behind a range of life sciences technologies.

Aimed at in-house lawyers who are not already experts in a given technology but would like to know more, each session gave an overview of the science and jargon-busting tips, followed by some legal considerations and hot topics.

Session two overview

Human diseases are largely understood from patients and animal studies, but their earliest stages are often obscure. Stem cell derived 3D models, cultured using protocols informed by modelling embryonic development, can bridge the gap, transforming our understanding of biology, disease and ability to intervene. Bristows investigated the emerging science of organoids and stembryos, and examines their legal environment.
