In the globalised world, indirect patent infringement or “contributory infringement” is an increasingly present case, either when a patented process may be implemented in a country not covered by the patent via a device/plant/machine manufactured in a country covered by the patent, or in the case an essential item to make a process or machine work is delivered from a patent covered country to a non-covered county.
