Are you ready for the EU’s AI Act?

Bristows’ AI regulatory experts, Chris Holder and Vik Khurana, hosted two webinars covering the key takeaways from the EU AI Act for US and Asian companies doing business in Europe, respectively.

The EU’s AI Act will create a brand new regulatory framework for AI products and services in the EU. Enterprises developing or marketing AI products or services into the EU are already assessing its impact.

During the sessions, attendees learned:

• how to evaluate whether your products and services are either banned or categorised as high-risk AI under the Act,
• the technical requirements and other obligations that the AI Act will impose on the development lifecycle of high-risk AI systems,
• how the Act regulates the AI supply chain for high-risk AI,
• the technical standards that will accompany the Act,
• how the Act regulates Foundation Models and deep fakes,
• the timeline for compliance and the enforcement regime under the Act.
