Tom is a partner in Bristows’ Artificial Intelligence practice, advising clients across the AI ecosystem on procurement, governance and regulatory compliance.

He advises both emerging AI businesses and established market leaders on the issues arising from AI adoption – from negotiating and structuring contracts with AI vendors, to designing governance frameworks that keep pace with a fast-moving regulatory landscape. Tom works at the leading edge of the sector, regularly advising on emerging issues such as agentic AI and agentic commerce. 

Tom brings hands-on industry insight from a strategic secondment to a leading global tech consulting firm, where he led the design and implementation of a global AI governance programme and negotiated directly with major AI vendors alongside regional counsel and senior stakeholders.
