Mark’s clients include corporations operating in industry sectors, in particular information technology, life sciences/pharma and digital media.
Mark has extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional arbitrations of contractual disputes under the major arbitration institutional rules, including ICC, LCIA, SCC and UNCITRAL rules, as well as ad hoc arbitrations. He has particular expertise in complex arbitrations of disputes in the technology and life sciences sectors – usually involving highly technical subject matter – concerning contested royalty rate quantum assessments and other contentious issues arising from joint venture, licensing, technical quality, manufacturing, supply and distribution agreements.
Mark is familiar with the full range of dispute resolution mechanisms from commercial arbitration and court litigation to mediation and dispute settlement negotiations.
Mark runs Bristows’ Groupe Juridique Francophone, which provides a full range of legal services to French and Francophone companies with commercial interests in the UK. He speaks fluent French and Italian.
He is a member of The Association for International Arbitration.
