Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the way companies do business, how governments provide public services, and how people engage with technology and each other. AI technology has the potential to improve business and society – but the opportunities will only be realised if the inherent risks of deploying AI are identified, understood and managed effectively.
In this conference – brought to you by Bristows’ AI and Robotics group – we will focus on:

• the main challenges in AI deployment
• key legal and regulatory issues, and
• how to develop an effective AI risk management strategy
Delegates can expect to hear from a blend of perspectives, from AI industry experts and thought-leaders like IBM Watson, iTechnic, and Queen Mary, University of London, to Bristows’ own experts Chris Holder, Mark Wattsand Vikram Khurana. Other speakers to be confirmed.
During this conference, we will also release the results of a Bristows-commissioned survey of the UK public’s understanding of AI, its expectations of this new technology, and its attitudes towards the use of AI across society. We hope the results of the survey will prompt a fascinating discussion and debate amongst our speakers and delegates.
Following the conference, a networking lunch will be provided with the opportunity to meet our speakers, members of our Bristows’ AI and Robotics group and other delegates.
