Trecina joined Bristows in March 2019 and is part of the brands group. Trecina worked at an International IP consultancy firm for four years, where she gained experience across a broad range of trade mark matters and developed a strong foundation in global brand protection work. She began her career as a trade mark paralegal before qualifying as a Trade Mark Attorney, giving her a practical understanding of trade mark portfolio management and prosecution at every stage of the registration process. 

Trecina advises clients on all aspects of trade mark prosecution, brand strategy and portfolio management across the UK, EU and internationally. She works with clients ranging from start-ups to established global brands across a variety of sectors, including technology, telecommunications, media and consumer goods. 

Trecina advises on trade mark clearance and filing strategies, prosecution matters, portfolio management and global brand protection programmes. Trecina regularly assists clients with securing and maintaining trade mark rights across multiple jurisdictions and provides commercially focused advise. Trecina also advises on contentious matters, including oppositions and disputes before the UK IPO and EU IPO.

Trecina is a member of CITMA, is on the CITMA’s AI & Technology Committee and a contributor to the CITMA Review.
