Zina qualified into the Regulatory department in 2017, having joined Bristows as a trainee solicitor in 2015.

Zina has experience working with clients in the pharmaceutical and TMT sectors, following her exposure to a number of practice areas, including Regulatory, IP Litigation, EU & Competition, Commercial IP/IT and Real Estate.

During her training, Zina worked as part of teams advising on contentious and non-contentious matters in the pharmaceutical sector relating to patent protection strategies and commercial arrangements for the development and exploitation of pharmaceutical patent rights. On the TMT side, Zina has worked on the patent, competition and FRAND litigation aspects of a high-profile multi-jurisdictional case and also completed a secondment at the in-house global litigation team of a leading technology company.

Zina's academic and research background in molecular biology is particularly useful in her comprehension and analysis of complex pharmaceutical cases, while she also has a keen interest in the application of AI and machine learning software in healthcare.
