Litigation appeals



Any well-functioning justice system includes the right to appeal. Appeals serve as a process for error corrections and for clarifying and interpreting the law. This applies to all areas of law, including intellectual property ("IP") law set out in the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights ("TRIPS"). TRIPS is an international treaty that requires all World Trade Organization members (currently 164 countries) to adopt minimum protections for IP.
