Client Data (where Bristows is a Controller)

Most of the time, we will act as a ‘data controller’ in respect of personal data we process about our clients, their staff, third parties and their staff, in connection with providing legal services. However, there may be certain document processing tasks, such as disclosure or discovery and corporate due diligence where we act as a data processor on behalf of our client in respect of personal data contained in such documents. Client Data (where Bristows is a Processor)

Where in connection with document handling-related tasks, such as disclosure or discovery and corporate due diligence, we act as a data processor on behalf of our client in respect of personal data contained in such documents, we will process such personal data in accordance with your written instructions and our terms of business.
