“Women’s health power hour: From research to reality” will bring together leaders from government, industry and innovation to discuss the systemic drivers of the gender health gap and their impact on women’s lived experiences.

Moderated by Ellen Lambrix (Partner) from Bristows LLP, the panel will feature:

  • Dame Lesley Regan, Women’s Health Ambassador for England, Chair of Wellbeing of Women, Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Imperial College, London.  Dame Lesley will provide her insights on the frontline issues faced by women in the UK and discuss the steps the UK Government is taking to eliminate the gender health gap.
  • Léa Wenger, CEO and Founder of Cyclana Bio.  Léa will be speaking from her perspective as a founder of a women’s health company.
  • Margaux Bruneau de la Salle, Associate Director, Global Business Development at Merck KGaA.  Margaux will be discussing the role of big pharma and strategies behind investing in women’s health research and innovation.

The discussion will explore investment and acquisition trends in women’s health, the importance of data and evidence generation, the challenges faced by start-ups in scaling and building partnerships, and the role government, regulators, industry and innovators can play in driving collaboration and improving outcomes in women’s health.
