We advise on all day-to-day aspects of employment law as well as giving clients broader, strategic advice on business initiatives, change management and the impact of new employment legislation.
 
We work with public and private companies of all sizes operating in a broad spectrum of industry sectors including IT, pharmaceutical, publishing and sport, in addition to many charities, professional institutions and "not for profit" organisations.  We also act for senior executives.
 
We advise on issues arising at each stage of the employment relationship from recruitment to termination.  These include discrimination issues (including bullying and harassment), long-term sickness and stress claims, disciplinary and grievance issues and family-friendly rights.  We also provide support for all employee-related issues which arise during corporate transactions and outsourcing arrangements, including informing and consulting employees, harmonising terms and conditions, redundancies and other dismissals.
 
We have considerable experience of handling disputes, including negotiating severance packages and dealing with claims in the Employment Tribunals and High Court.
